Good formwork on the tight bowl - the top plate allows you to finish the face right up to the lip edge. The top right will be a roll in.

We had to get the curing agent on the tight bowl fast when a sudden sand storm popped up. The roll in looks good and the tight lip allows for retro-fitting coping blocks.

Timing is everything. We had to dump the rest of truck one quickly on the deck with truck 2 waiting. Notice as the top form is pulled, a natural "tile bed" is formed - too bad we aren't doing pool tiles here. Rebuilding that part of the lip would ultimately be problematic.

The lip got a little wonky due to the type of form used and lack of quick rebuild once it was pulled (the concrete was getting too hard already.) A lot of learning happens when things don't go exactly right. The Bane crew hurries to smooth things out with some Portland and water.

Handstacking taller walls is tricky, but the Bane crew is getting the hang of things. Mix design is 3000 psi with a 2 1/2 inch slump and 3/4 inch aggregate.
